As opposed to most weeks this one has gone by nice and slow. Now that TechStars is over Villij has brought a more natural rhythm back to it’s company. We have a lot of investor interest and are really pushing to close our next round of funding by the end of October.
I have a feeling that raising capital would be more fun if your ass wasn’t on the line if you didn’t raise the money. But on the other hand – with a survival of the fittest type of mentality – could we be as effective? As an early stage, high risk venture it takes more than just passion to make things like this happen; it takes assiduousness and an ability to show people latency with your company. Demonstraiting that with proper guidance and money our company will provoke the next big thing. In meeting with Brad Feld yesterday we talked a little about his fund raising activities as of late. As the discussion ensued I told him it gives me comfort in knowing he still go’s through some similar issues as we are right now. I assume it doesn’t necessarily get easier, you just get used to the lifestyle.
