Today at 3:00 CTEK will be holding there second annual CTEK Live program. Christina James tells me it is almost 100% sold out. This is great for the VIllij team, we are in a fund raising mode so having an amass of potential investors to speak to will help us out a lot. If nothing else, we will be able to influence community members from the Denver area. David Cohen – the executive director of TechStars – will be attending. I am excited to show him how adaptable we are to different situations.
This is much different than pitching to Angel and VC investors like Brad Feld and Jared Polis. They already have a knack for out “space” and we can spend more time showing them the cool things we have built – more on the demo side of things – with CTEK I can’t predict what kinds of investors will be there. There could be people that made it big in everything from the shoe polish industry to oil. It is a different kind of crowd and in turn has to be a different kind of pitch.
